In the Footsteps of Marie Curie emphasizes the importance of women in STEM and specific historical milestones of Marie Curie’s life. With each passing of time to the next major year, there is an opportunity to learn. This would be a fantastic game for education settings in addition to the traditional fun you would have at the table with your friends and family.

This is a great entry level game that provides an incredibly easy to learn rulebook and mechanics. While there are some strategy elements to the game, such as resource management, the options are relatively straightforward and concise. The “In the Footsteps” series continues to be a fun, engaging, and accessible opportunity to play a fun game with opportunities to learn along the way. Part of the race is to make decisions on your turn to collect element resources (Pitchblende, Uranium, and Radium) that allow for completion of achievements. There is a phenomenal tower that comes with the game to drop the element cubes into for a random assortment to be available to pick up. From there, you may collect elements of your choice to accomplish an assortment of actions. These actions include completing achievements that as you collect more of, will unlock more points, rewards, and resources. Based on your actions and how you manage your resources, time will move forward due to multiple actions made by the board and players, determining the length of the game before the timeline meets its end.
