Q: What is the return policy?
A: Store credit and exchange only. The game must be returned in resellable condition. (No punched pieces, box is good condition.)
Q: Do you sell online or do shipping?
A: No, we do not sell online nor do we ship.
Q: How do I become eligible for the frequent customer discount?
A: If your purchases total over $250.00 over the course of a year, you are eligible. Receipts or proof of payment (cc statement) are required, once shown to the clerk you will be entered into the computer and will receive 10% off all items, that are not already reduced, for a year.
Q: Where can I find parking near Gamescape?
A: Metered parking spaces are available on Divisadero street in front of the store. Non-metered parking spaces can be found along our cross streets, Page and Oak, as well as on the nearby street Broderick.
Q: Can I reserve a game that has not been released?
A: Yes, you can call in or email your preorder with us. Games may be subject to later release dates. When your game becomes available, we will contact you and will hold your game for up to 7 days.
Q: Does Gamescape gift wrap?
A: We offer a free self-serve gift wrapping station, complete with all the necessary tools and wrapping paper.
Q: Which muni lines come closest to Gamescape's location?
A: The 6, 7, 24, 71, and the N Judah all stop within walking distance of the store.
Q: Does Gamescape still buy used games?
A: No, we longer buy used games. But we do take in donations for any used game and will find them a good home.
Q: Is the gaming space in the back of the store free for anyone to use?
A: Yes. Please call ahead of time to avoid any conflicts with other events.
Q: Does Gamescape host a board game night?
A: Yes, every Monday. Also, many cafes in the Bay Area host board game nights. SFGames hosts boardgame nights at various locations in the Bay Area throughout the week.
Q: Does Gamescape sell video games?
A: No.
Q: Do we carry Battle Toads?
